Construction Estimating our Vision

Having  over 20 years of construction estimating experience using a prototype of the EZ Estimator software enabled my Company to be one of the leaders in remodeling in the southern California area. Knowing I could not rely on myself to be able to bid every project accurately and quickly I came up with a system of estimating that will enable me to teach my new estimators without any construction estimating experience to learn the EZ Estimating App in less than a week and become proficient enough to estimate projects from a few thousand dollars to over two hundred thousand dollars within a few hours with accuracy .

EZ Estimator in the beginning

I become a contractor over twenty years ago with little knowledge of construction material cost and labor . Customers asking me to bid their room addition projects I didn’t know how to bid these projects and still be competitive in pricing . I knew the price of material was available at Home Depot or similar Lumber type stores  and labor pricing could be sought through several labor cost books available for purchase online   .  I had both prices available so how could I automate the the material and labor pricing to get an accurate way to bid my projects . EZ Estimator PC software was born. I was able to design the software to use on my laptop computer with a simple labor and material database that worked in the back ground to enable me to bid projects that other contractors would take days and weeks to bid , I could bid in an hour or two from single story to two story additions with a proffesional presentation quickly and accurately .
